Tough race but CORLEONE BLUE (6) has recorded a couple of handy placings here over 330m and she may appreciate the rise in distance. There isn't a lot of pace in the event, so she can lead throughout. STRAWBERRY QUEEN (7) has shown improvement of late and she will get a nice cart across early, while WIZARD WALSH (1) is drawn to get the breaks.
MR. FERGUSON (7) has been sparingly raced, however he has recorded some smart placings to date and he is armed with a nice turn of foot. Plenty of unknowns with the debutants, but he will take some catching if he steps IMPRESS SPEITH (2) is a member of a powerful kennel and his dam line produced former superstar She's A Pearl.
BIANCA'S BOY (5) is one of the most gifted chasers in the region and he was far from disgraced when narrowly beaten by the pink last week. Explodes soon after box rise, can make amends this week. FANCY MAL (8) is absolutely airborne at present and he just needs to clear the seven early on, while ORSON ARIA (7) has good early burn and may be value.
SOPHIE'S DESIRE (8) is still learning the caper but she is armed with a dynamic turn of foot and she recorded her sizzling 18.75 PB here from this draw. MISS FAHRENHEIT (4) is better than her past two runs and she will pressure the pink for most of the journey, while the strong BAROOGA LUCY (5) is capable of causing an upset.
HIS KEEN (2) is far better than his form indicates and he will appreciate the drop in class. He can show good early burn at times and he should be able to clear the red early on. SHE'S RARE (5) resumes from a spell and she is more than capable when fit, while TRUDY'S CHANCE (6) showed some improvement at Wagga last time out.
CLIVE'S CHANCE (1) has a top record over this track/distance and his past two runs have been super. The red alley is a big plus and he should get every chance to score. CALL ME ELF (3) was brilliant when placed here last time and he'll get a nice run though mid race, while PIGEON'S DESIRE (2) is a star on the rise but he takes on the big boys today
KLOUS (1) has been racing in consistent style of late and he was placed in a very strong line-up here last week. He is drawn to get a fairly cheap lead and he may prove too strong for these. ACE'S CHANCE (3) is the most talented chaser in the event but he may be giving the red a slight head start. TWO GOOD CHARLIE (4) owns a handy 33.14 PB here.
DEADLY (9) gets a gig from the red alley and he was far from disgraced when placed in his heat. He owns a quick PB here and he will get some cover early on, so a forward showing is expected. WESTSIDE BULLET (2) was enormous after blowing the start last week and he's expected to step better. SCARLET'S DESIRE (3) will keep the pressure on throughout
TALK ABOUT CLASS (4) is a star on the rise and he has been simply brilliant in his past two wins here. There isn't a lot of pace underneath, so he should be able to find the rail early on. AMANDA HOLYFIELD (8) was a sizzling 29.67 Dubbo winner two runs back and she will get plenty of room early on. FLYING FOR AARON (6) just needs room early on.
DANA RIPPER (2) has a tremendous record here and he has been luckless in his past few runs. A clean getaway should see him clear the red and he will be carving out time. BULL'S CHANCE (4) is another who excels here and he just needs a clear crack in the middle stages, while POOKY HOLLER (8) will get room early and she has the engine.
WESTSIDE STORM (1) will try and push up the track, however she should time the start well from the red alley and she is armed with tremendous pace once balanced. TRICKY RIDDLES (2) was brilliant when scoring at Wagga last time and he will get a nice run through mid race, while LYN'S BIANCA (3) has a big motor and she should fire fresh.
Open affair, however YORI BALE (1) has recorded four smart placings in a row and the red alley is a big plus. He should hold a top three spot early and he will be strong in the run home. WISHBONE (7) was a dominant 18.37 Dubbo winner two runs back and he exits a similar draw today, while RIO RIPLEY (5) has pace to burn and he just needs luck.
