The Hound Says:Another having first go at this. Handy run beaten 3.75L by pacey winner over 400m at RICH last start. Lacks dazzling zip and tested by this trip but consider.
Fine race to start even with small field. With box 3 hope now scratched fancy local star MURPHEY (8) who needs lift on recent showings but loves this trip and is always dangerous from wide draw. LITTLE BURRITO (1) been terrific over shorter recently. May lack the motor for this but must be considered. LAGOON LOCKDOWN (7) not out of it either.
Another good race. GREEK BOMBSHELL (8) hampered mid-race and well beaten at GRDNS last start but has scorched round last two goes at this and loves this local trip. Wide draw a concern but can win. HUT SIX (2) seems to prefer wide draw but also enjoys this trip. KEY NOSE (4) much better than last two starts. Consider. DANCE A TANGO (1) also danger.
First starter CHOP AND DROP (1) may have landed winnable debut. Offers decent pedigree so could have ability and gets the ideal draw to bounce out and hold these off. WHERE'S LOFTUS (7) not impressed two runs so far elsewhere but looks possible improver. Consider. MINNI ERSKIN (2) looks a possible on debut. LAGOON NADAL (6) another who could lift.
Taking a chance on HELLO HEATHER (3). Local hope not seen since Sep 9 but showed ability over this prior to break, including handy 20.04PB. Okay draw so could lift and score here. MOON SHINE (4) had some decent if not dazzling runs over this local trip. Danger. ARROGANT BENJI (1) gone nicely at DUB. Has claims. CHARLI LOUISE (5) tempting roughie.
Several contenders. FIRE FLY ANGEL (2) slow out and well beaten at GRDNS last start but had some fine runs over this and with a better-looking draw here could lift markedly. WEFFALEE DANCER (8) racing admirably and loves the wide draw. LILY GIRL (3) not at best recently but gone well over this. LOCH IT (6) not at best from draw but keep in mind.
Typically open Pathways contest. HEY BUDDY (6) disappointed over longer recently but has shown flashes of decent toe and although awkward draw could find this easier. WEEONA BOBBY (7) had some good runs over short course and another who could lift for this. ALL IN EVIE (3) okay 20.26 over this Sep 23. Place hope. Likewise TRALEE TRISTAN (5).
MOTOR CITY LASS (4) jumped well and scored good win over 330m at RICH last start, resuming. Awkward draw again to overcome here but could strip fitter and improve further. HE'S GIFTED (1) not seen since Jul but shown decent toe over short course elsewhere and draw may assist. Danger. GAGAN ASHER (6) gone well at Richmond Straight recently. Chance.
Going with LITTLE BRONTE (5) who couldn't find late kick beaten by good winner over 400m at RICH last start but has had some admirable runs elsewhere. Unproven over this trip and must jump well but can win. ZIPPING TRISH (7) needs lift but is handy over this. Don't discount. TRALEE BLAZE (6) lacks electric zip but can place.
MOTOR CITY TITAN (7) paid for fair exit at RICH last start but has zoomed round 307m at BATH and looks a talent. Can't dwell again from this draw but expect better show. TEST OF TIME (2) also slow out at DUB last start but speedy at TAR recently. Danger. ESTHER'S CHOICE (1) unpredictable but danger from draw. CLANDA'S COMET (4) likes trip. Chance.
TYPHOON NELLIE (8) deserves a win after some good recent goes at this, showing decent toe. Wide draw here a concern but she looks up to the task. SUNSHINE SHADOW (5) pinged out from box 1 and scored terrifically over this last start. Big ask from this draw but danger. WONDER WOOLLY (1) needs lift but respect. LUCKY ACE (2) can't be written off.
With box 2 hope scratched going with reliable MAURITIAN JAZZ (5) who powered home well over 272m at GRDNS last start. Has sped round over shorter and although tested by this trip and draw can win. MOTOR CITY COBRA (8) honest enough and must be respected. GOTHIKA (4) unpredictable but has talent. Not out of it.
Tricky race to finish. ERSKIN BOY (7) not at best since good 25.00 run over this Sep 16 but had other good efforts over trip and if he can nail the start could sweep home. ONLY A WINNER (2) shown handy dash on occasion and gone nicely from the checks. GUNNEDAH GIRL (3) also had some admirable goes at this. Threat. OUTRAGEOUS JET (1) podium hope.
