After a promising debut 3rd here last week, OH SO OPULENT (2) gets a great opportunity to convert that into a win here. Was well tried and showed great pace early from a wide alley - just thwarted for the lead by the eventual winner. Softer draw now. MEAN MACHINE (8) ran 2nd in that same race. Well boxed wide. YINDY GIRL (1) has the right alley.
Providing he uses the inside to advantage by beginning on terms, IMPRESS ALCOTT (1) will be afforded every opportunity in this even line-up. Luckless here from a centre draw when fancied last run, he can turn things around. SKETCHY BINGO (8) was sent out an odds-on pop here last week and is boxed perfectly to improve. LAR GRAND WYLIE (3) place play
An even contest here over the 400m sprint. GOODWIN BARBIE (8) looks boxed to get a trouble free run off the lids - and that might be the difference here. Some of her rivals look drawn a touch more awkwardly. ROSE OF LACHLAN (2) will force out in the early part and needs clear air. TODDLER TANTRUM (7) is flying again and his confidence is sky high.
Looks a race of 3 realistic winning chances. SNOOT (3) is flying at the moment - with excellent box manners assisting in him winning his past 3 here. Hasn't been able to better 23 secs yet, but it looks a matter of time. EARL OF NABIAC (5) was awesome in a fast 22.83 here last week - a clear PB for him. CONVOLUTED (7) class runner, back in journey.
Banking on the 2 best graded runners battling this out here. OPAL TRIER (7) is a 7-time winner and recently won a dash at this track in 15.82. The dog she beat that night came out to frank the form and looks awfully hard to toss. FIRE ASH (8) is well placed in box 8 and her class will stand her in good stead. MEAN CHARLIE (2) progressive newcomer.
On the back of some really consistent form of late, DISCARD ROAD (3) looks awfully hard to beat here, with level luck. She was excellent when finding the front and posting 15.64 here early in October, from a similar inside alley. BOCKEY (2) is down a touch on her best, but boasts the quickest PB of these and gets a soft draw. SHAFTED (7) place play
This is a race that falls away after the top 3 fancies. SMIRKEY (2) was well tried and duly saluted in his 23.20 Maiden win here last week. Led quickly from an identical draw and can go back-to-back here. RUBY SANNETTE (8) looks the clear class factor here, but how much start she gives away is the conundrum? FIVE MILE NELLY (3) is right in the mix.
A deep contest from heats last week. SPACE GIRL (8) is airborne and chases her 5th straight win. Brilliant pace in run-off rout and scored again Gosford Thursday in quick time. The clear benchmark. ZIPPING GLAMOUR (6) has chased Space Girl home in past 2 runs - finishing in her obligatory spot. A multis must. WE BACK (5) has an engine. Tough draw
If MAC FLY (1) begins at least on terms here and holds the pressure to her outside, she has too much raw ability for these. A power-packed chaser, she posted 22.61 winning her Maiden here in August - and that's too quick for these to handle. RINGER ROSIE (2) is so consistent and she deserves another success, soon. SALANA (7) won well here on Friday
An open event to wind down the card. WALK NOT RUN (2) was a strong run when 3rd in a harder 4/5th Grade last week and looks well suited. Boxed to take up a prominent spot from the outset here. ANGRY MONSOON (4) raced similarly without early luck, in his nice placing here Friday. Began fast - but found bother. STAR CONNIE (3) might lead here. Place.
