First starters KING REED (4) and LOMAX (6) hold the key to the outcome. Going with King Reed given his siblings have shown good speed and he draws ‘closer in’ that his main rivals. Lomax is in a very successful kennel and is sure to be well educated. Though a risky beginner, MISS RUBY (5) is the leading chance of those with disclosed form.
MISS BENTLEY (2) led and faded over 520m here Sept 30 yet quickly atoned at this shorter trip Oct 21 in 17.14. She’s up from maiden company yet has genuine upside and drawn to advantage. TOWERING STAR (3) is a two-time winner at Richmond over 330m. Given a clean start, she will make this interesting. MISS SHARPE (4) has plenty of local experience.
The scratching of BULLHEADED (3) has made this easier for ROCKSTAR JIMMY (2) which won his heat in 30.30. He handled box 8 last time yet he's a strong railer and better drawn now. EVACUATE (5) is a safe beginner. She's been placed in 4 of 5 career outings and is a live chance. WYNLOCK LYNETTE (6) was only 1 1/2 lens away when 2nd in a 30.30 heat.
Though new here, SPRINGVIEW HAWK (1) makes strong appeal. He was cut out at the start and finished only 4th (6 lens away) in 22.55 at Bulli Oct 19 but is much better drawn now. GO WILD BELLA (4) has the speed to lead. She’s a six-time winner and is well placed in this class. LUCKY FERNANDO (5) struggled here Sept 16 in 30.00 but has been freshened.
Punters who missed the STAR FRUITS (3) at $41 in her 29.77 heat win here Oct 21 will find it hard to butter up now. She, however, showed high speed last time when resuming from a break and makes strong appeal. MISS WANTED (2) has good dash. She was collared late when neck 2nd in 30.03 here Oct 21. ZIPPING IDAHO (4) should not be underestimated.
ANGEL GLOW (6) was first up for five weeks when a fast 34.29 all-the-way winner from box 7 here Oct 21. She’s a near faultless beginner and very effective from wide boxes. CHASE ME HONEY (7) is classy. She scored here in 34.34 on Sept 16 and can match Angel Glow for pace. CAWBOURNE TURVEY (8) has a sharp PB of 34.38 and cannot be underestimated.
WICKED FURY (1) started odds on when a 30.24 all-the-way winner from box 6 here Oct 7. He much better drawn now and suited in this class. Very tough to toss. BLUE MOSS (3) has struggled in strong company at Goulburn at his past couple. He’s untried here but can show good speed on his night. REDSHIFT SEVEN (8) handles the outside alley adroitly.
JOKEY (6) has a very good record from outside boxes and posted a smart 16.98 all-the-way win (box 5) here Oct 21 when resuming from a break. She’s posted 8 of 9 career wins here at this trip. CORLESS CRAZY (3) is in career best form. He was dominant in a smart 18.69 win at Richmond Oct 24. The vastly experienced GOOD ODDS TIGER (2) is in the mix.
In a competitive affair, JAGORA BALE (3) appeals. She led from box 2 and posted a solid 20.77 win at Nowra on Sunday. This is a little deeper but she is a six-time winner here. MEEKA'S BOY BILL (6) is a very reliable beginner. Wins here (2 from 16) have been spaced yet his record from wide boxes is sound. HAY GOOD LOOKING (4) has won here in 17.17.
COCO BOOMER (5) is a very safe beginner. She has not made winning a habit (3 from 31) but this class suited and she has posted 17.13 locally. ZIPPING MALIBU (6) led from box 2, got wide into the straight and was collared late when ¾ len 2nd in 17.13 here Oct 14. This task is no tougher. JENIFER ALICE (7) resumes after injury and merits respect.
