In Your Time was having her 14th start when she broke through for her first win last week but is poised to make it two in a row by taking out Saturday night's It's Going To Be Glorious Stakes at Wentworth Park.
Trained by Barry Evans at Moonbi, near Tamworth, In Your Time finished second at her only Wentworth Park outing, over Saturday's 720m trip, on February 26, and won impressively over an unsuitable 515m at Ladbrokes Gardens on March 13.
Evans' wife Roz said: "In Your Time is definitely a 720m greyhound but Barry has had a heck of a job trying to find appropriate races for her.
"When she ran second over 720m at Wentworth Park last month she had not seen the track as it is simply too far for us to drive all the way to Sydney just for a trial.
"In Your Time can run very fast times in solo trials and has always had ability.
"As an unraced puppy she broke 30s in her first trial over 515m at Ladbrokes Gardens and when she won over the same course last week in 29.68s her run home time was 12.07s, which I'm led to believe is a record.''
Sandave Gypsy was scratched from her 720m engagement at Wentworth Park on March 7 but trainer Ricky Brewer said "she is ready to rock 'n roll'' in Saturday night's Glorious Golden Easter Egg Stakes over the same journey.
"After she won in 42.09s at Wentworth Park on March 4 Sandave Gypsy pulled up a bit flat so I decided not to back her up three days later,'' Brewer said.
"She is fine again now and I am happy to see her drawn near the rails in box two.
"Really Unreal, who has box one, is likely to be in front of my bitch early but usually gets up the track a bit, so Sandave Gypsy could get a nice run along the fence.''
Really Unreal and Dylan's Magic, who has drawn box seven, are boxed "upside down'' according to Melinda Finn, wife of their trainer John Finn.
"We would be more confident if the boxes were reversed because Really Unreal uses a bit of the track and Dylan's Magic is a mad railer,'' Melinda said.
"Dylan's Magic has not been tried over 720m but he is a clean-winded dog and we think he will run the long distance out.
"Problem is he virtually refuses to go around other dogs, he just marks time waiting for a run on the rails, and that is why he is going to struggle to win more 520m races.''
Moving from box eight to box one in Saturday's eighth race, a 520m fourth and fifth grade, should enable Bit Flash to avenge his start defeat by Hello Mavis at Wentworth Park last week.
Bit Flash was sent out a raging hot $1.60 favourite when beaten just under a length by Hello Mavis, who began brilliantly from box one and led throughout.
But on Saturday Hello Mavis has box five while Bit Flash, who has won 15 of 31 starts, will wear the red rug.
He has carried those colours to victory in two of four appearances from the rails alley.
